NEW TEACHERS' ORIENTATION

An evening for all new teachers to come out and learn about the STF, STA and any valuable information. This evening is held in the first week of February every year.

PARTNERS' SOCIAL

The STA Executive members host their Partners' Social in early November of every year. This is a meet and greet event to bring together representatives from the Public School Board, the Greater Catholic School Board, Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation and the STA's executive members to network with one another and have friendly conversation.

SUPERANNUATION

Superannuation is a time to celebrate a teacher's career. The STA's annual Superannuation banquet is held the second Friday of June.

WORLD TEACHERS' DAY

On October 5th, the STA celebrates World Teachers' Day. It is an oportunity for teachers to be acknowledged for the role they play in guiding children and youth through the life-long learning process. Every year the STA focuses on teachers' needs around the world. See below previous campaigns.
